As a communications and user research specialist, he is interested in the power of
leveraging technology and outreach to assist communities join formal financial and
business systems. As a former lead communications consultant in East Africa for a
Silicon Valley based FSP communications firm,his work serviced telcoms and banks in
Rwanda,Tanzania and Zambia.
Mr. Kiishweko helped financial companies, such as banks and insurance providers, deeply understand their customers to improve product development and design. He led the team that assisted in translating customer information into insights and business opportunities. He also specialized in user research to assist clients drive services to new markets and come up with new products.
Subsequently,he was the lead communications and engagement specialist for
a WorldBank financed project in Zanzibar where he ensured that citizen
engagement complied with global safeguards standards and led preparations
for a stakeholder Engagement Framework and plan for a $150m project for approval by
the global bank.
On compliance,his focus includes full compliance with anti-bribery and
corruption best practice, as defined by the UK Bribery Act and the US Foreign
Corrupt Practices Act, supply chain monitoring services, privatisation
dynamics pre- and post-bid, deep dives in M&A; shareholder insights; market
entry/exit, ESG; regulatory and policy issues, climate solutions and a cross a
range of sectors including finance, FMCG, agribusiness , energy,Supply chain
reviews.
